De Nieuwe Liefde is a centre for debate, reflection, philosophy, poetry, music and theatre, often inspired by religion.
De Nieuwe Liefde has a large hall with a capacity of 250 visitors, a smaller hall with a capacity of 80, and a choir hall with a capacity of 20.
De Nieuwe Liefde is located in a monumental building on the Da Costakade in Amsterdam-West. It was built in 1904 as a wine traders warehouse, and sold to the the Roman Catholic Parish "De Liefde" in 1931. From 1974 till 2006 the building was used by the Amsterdam Theatre School and a Theatre known as "De Liefde".
In 2010 - 2011 the building was renovated after which De Nieuwe Liefde was established there.
