Rialto is a film theatre located in a monumental cinema building on the Ceintuurbaan in Amsterdam-Zuid. The location originally opened as a youth oriented neighbourhood cinema in 1921. After many renovations it was reopened as a modern cinema in 2006
Rialto's premiere programming is oriented toward artistic European and non-western cinema. Apart from its regular programme of high quality films, Rialto is often host to film festivals and special events such as lectures, discussions on films and accompanying afterparties.
Rialto has three screens and a café.
